General Description:
In the Parking Department there are multiple jobs completed by Parking Staff. Your primary goal is to provide quality customer service to all who enter Emerald Downs. Parking Attendants positions include: Lot Attendants and Transportation.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Lot Attendant:
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Excellent driving skills. The ability to operate a manual or automatic transmission. Amazing customer service skills. Strong communication skills. The ability to work as an individual and a part of a team. Clear understanding of teamwork and the ability to motivate yourself and others. High level of integrity and ethics.
Special Requirements:
Work Environment, Communication & Physical Abilities:
Fast paced work environment. Be prepared for all weather conditions and exposures. Attendants are needed for all weekends and events for the live racing season. Availability should reflect this as much as possible. Communicate with staff, supervisors, and customers with courtesy and respect. Physical abilities include, but not limited to: standing, sitting, driving, walking, or fast-paced movements for up to 8 hours per day and assisting customers in and out of vehicles.

Payment transaction equipment, vehicles, cleaning supplies.
